Scottish Pride Ice Cream Mix Re-launchJan 2011
Scottish Pride is a brand name synonymous with quality and heritage for dairy products.
Food produced under the brand is a popular choice for the catering industry, and now two key Scottish Pride products have been re-launched into the market following the closure of Milk Link's Kircudbright factory in Scotland earlier this year.
Scottish Pride Ice Cream Mix and Thick Shake Mix are now being produced by Framptons, a member of the Ice Cream Alliance, under the Scottish Pride brand.
With a shelf life of 39 weeks from production, the mixes use the original recipe and ingredients.
The products give caterers a high quality recipe for use with ice cream and thick shake machines. Both have an excellent flavour and texture, providing premium ice cream and shakes at minimum cost.
"Framptons is delighted to be able to offer the products under the Scottish Pride brand, which has great provenance and offers an economic solution for caterers wishing to provide customers with delicious ice cream and milkshakes, in return for good profit margins," said Framptons' General Sales Manager Geoff Slater.
The mix, which can be stored at ambient temperature, is available in one litre cartons in case sizes of 12. It is manufactured under a rigorous HACCP quality assurance programme at Framptons' BRC certified factory.
